The first volume of Billy Joel's vinyl collection catalogued Billy's early career with his first six studio albums as well as Live at The Great American Music Hall - 1975, which was previously unreleased. This second volume picks up during Billy's peak hit-making era in the '80s starting with Glass Houses followed by The Nylon Curtain, An Innocent Man, The Bridge, Storm Front and then into the '90s with his last official pop studio release, River of Dreams.

The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 2 also includes for the first time on vinyl his classical album, Fantasies & Delusions, as well as the 3-LP Live from Long Island recorded in 1982 from the celebrated Nylon Curtain tour.

Similar to the first volume, all of the LPs have been remastered and are housed in a sturdy slipcase which contains a 60+ page booklet featuring Billy's personal observations as well an essay by Rob Tannenbaum.
