Hilary Duff's self-titled album returns on hot pink vinyl, pressed across two LPs. Originally released in September 2004 on Hollywood Records, it was her third studio album and the follow-up to her 2003 breakout, Metamorphosis.

The record arrived while Duff was at the center of the Disney Channel's success as the star of Lizzie McGuire, and it debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of around 192,000 copies. Production came from a team that included John Shanks, Kara DioGuardi, and Charlie Midnight, several of whom had also worked on Metamorphosis.

Its lead single, "Fly," premiered on MTV's Total Request Live in August 2004 and was the album's only single released in the United States. "Someone's Watching Over Me" followed as an Australian single, reaching number 22 on the ARIA chart. The album also collects "Mr. James Dean," "Weird," "Who's That Girl?," and the closer "The Last Song."
