Possibly one of the Ramones' most experimental albums, Animal Boy delivered "My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes to Bitburg)," "Mental Hell," and "Love Kills" alongside a heavier use of synthesizers. Generally considered one of the band's underrated gems, it proved their playfulness could be explored within the Ramones' signature sound while still evolving.
